“How you’re just like your mother.”
Oh boy. Well the first word that comes to mind is stubborn. I remember when I was a bratty teenager we fought constantly and neither of us would give in and admit defeat. We are both modest and self-conscious. I would say brave as well. She took a big risk and left the Philippines to start a completely different life in the States knowing only my dad. I left a very comfortable and familiar lifestyle in pursuit of happiness (cliché, I know) and personal growth. So I would say we are both strong women. I am so proud to call her my mother. ❤
